Fashion and photography have long been a passion for Allen, but both were simply a hobby and infatuation for him until a few years ago. He began his life as a creative while attending Art Center College of Design (ACCD) for Advertising and Photography. It was there that he was introduced to two very different yet similar worlds of the commercial arts. At the end of his year there Allen left to pursue an internship at an advertising agency where he worked on design projects for clients such as Sony Playstation, Trojan, BMW, and more. There he was introduced to art direction, design, pre-press, and print.

During this time, Allen also assisted several fashion photographers. These experiences helped open his eyes to the world of commercial and editorial fashion. In 2011 he took his initial steps into fashion photography and has been mainly focused there ever since. Through the past several years Allen photographed and retouched for a wide variety of clientele. His work has taken him all across the country and helped him meet countless people. In 2012 Allen had images published in publications such as Elle Vietnam, Tantalum, J'Adore, and Slam Magazine.

His philosophy towards photography + retouching has been to produce the best work possible regardless of how big or small the project is. Allen hopes that by maintaining the highest level of quality while applying his aesthetic values to his work will one day develop him not only into a master photographer, but a master retoucher as well. HIs drive to master and perfect both his crafts has only increased over the past 5 years he has worked as a professional creative. As 2013 begins, Allen hopes to continue working with more talented and creative friends and clients to produce even more impactful and beautiful images.
