X-E1 Snaps: July 4th!

Ended up spending the 4th bbq'ing with some friends at the Rose Bowl.  It's been a while since i've gotten to see a live fireworks show!  Felt like a little kid again.  I was super excited to take some firework photos with the X-E1 but sadly I had to free hand these longer exposures because I left my tripod at home.  Hopefully i'll remember next year, but enjoy these photos!

X-E1 Snaps: The Classic Life

Recently I was lucky enough to be invited to view a collection of cars owned by a friend's friend's father.  The collection had a variety of awesome classics and i'll definitely be making a return trip to shoot a few more of them.  Sadly the ones I mostly shot were sold the day of, but the cleaner ones will be shot in the future and i'm definitely looking forward to it.

X-E1 Snaps: Cham Korean Bistro

Decent Korean food in SGV?  It's happened.  There's Oo-Kook in San Gabriel for Korean BBQ, and Cham Korean Bistro in Pasadena.  Yeah I know therer are other Korean restaurants in the vicinity but these two are a taste of KTown without the drive to LA.  I ended up ordering a little bit of everything since I was there with familiy.  Bimbimbop, glass noodles, tofu wraps, salad, and hite beer ( exactly how I knew it was really Korean ).  Enjoy the photos!

Hannah F @ Pinkerton LA

Today was a pretty interesting day.  I logged around 4 hours of driving.  An hour to get to the studio to shoot a catalog today, then 3 hours to and from West LA to visit some friends and pickup some gear a buddy of mine was nice enough to lend me.  ( - Go visit his site.  He's awesome. )

More importantly, the model I shot today - Hannah F - was a dream.  At the end of the catalog shoot we got to play around for about 15 minutes.  More shots from the Fuji X-E1, which I shot the entire catalog with today.  No the catalog shots do not look like this. I'll post those up when I finish them later, but for now, more X-E1 fun with Hannah F.
